BlackBerry expands its Indonesian BBM Money mobile payment solution to Android and iOS

BlackBerry is expanding its BBM Money mobile payment service to smartphones running Android and Apple iOS from early 2015.

It was launched in Indonesia last year, enabling customers to make real-time payments to any BBM contacts who have signed up to the service.

Apple announces iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and Apple 'iWatch' Watch

Apple has announced two new handsets today: the iPhone 6, which has a 4.7-inch display, and the iPhone 6 Plus with a 5.5-inch display.

As well as the two new phones, Apple showed off the Apple Watch, which many had expected to be called the iWatch.

Google commits to $19 million payment as part of FTC complaint settlement about children's in-app charges

Google has committed to refunding at least $19 million (£11.8 million) in in-app charges raised by children using applications on Android devices.

The complaint was raised by the US Federal Trade Commission earlier this year, claiming that children using mobile apps downloaded from the Google Play store had bought additional products and services without the authorisation of the account holder.
