BT has launched a new ‘text relay’ service that’s designed to facilitate telephone conversations for customers with hearing or speech impairments.
It’s the result of an Ofcom mandate to improve the previous text relay service.

It says competition for the space behind Apple and Samsung is currently between Lenovo, Amazon, Asus and other ‘emerging’ vendors.

UK communications regulator Ofcom says Ed Richards, its Chief Executive, will be leaving at the end of December 2014.
He joined the Ofcom board in March 2003 and became Chief Executive in October 2006.

Second generation of the Tesco hudl tablet
Tesco has announced the successor to its hudl tablet, which is now a year old.
The new hudl2 has a larger screen, a faster processor and a choice of eight colours.
