Former Vivendi chief executive and Vizzavi chairman Jean-Marie Messier found guilty of misleading investors

Back in 2000, Vodafone and Vivendi created what they called a 'multi-access portal' that would offer internet services across TVs, PCs and mobile phones. It was named Vizzavi and was chaired by Vivendi's Jean-Marie Messier for the first couple of years.

Transfer credit from a UK mobile account to a prepay customer in another country

Vodafone UK’s Wholesale division has announced an exclusive agreement with TransferTo that enables it to offer an ‘international top-up transfer’ service. Customers of participating Vodafone UK MVNOs will now be able to instantly transfer value from a prepay or postpay account in the UK to an international prepay phone.

Vodafone expands its money transfer service and plans to cover Asia, Africa and the Middle East

Vodafone has rolled its mobile money transfer service into Qatar and the Philippines, with plans to cover Asia, Africa and the Middle East. The service was launched in Kenya as M-PESA and is already available in several other countries, with 20 million people using it globally.
