Ofcom has published the volume of complaints made against mobile phone network operators, fixed-line phone providers, broadband companies and pay TV services between January and March 2014.
It’s the regulator’s thirteenth quarterly report of complaint data.

The European Commission has approved the proposed acquisition of Telefónica’s O2 Ireland business by Hutchison 3G, which operates the Three network.
However, Hutchison has been required to make commitments that’ll see it helping some competitors.

Two complaints about promotional material for Telefonica’s O2 Travel service have been upheld by the UK Advertising Standards Authority.
An in-flight magazine ad promoted O2 Travel without mentioning the daily limit, while the O2 website promoted a collection of apps and services for travellers but didn’t explain how much data these could use.
