Bambuser now lets broadcasters receive studio talkback while streaming video

BambuserMobile video streaming service Bambuser has enhanced its video service by adding 'talkback' for journalists and other video professionals. It'll allow media companies to conduct broadcasts from a mobile phone whilst also maintaining voice contact between the studio and broadcaster.

Previously, users were only able to interact through a text-based interface.

Hans Eriksson, CEO of Bambuser, said "We believe that this latest innovation will encourage additional media companies to adopt Bambuser as a cost efficient tool for broadcasting live and exclusive video directly from your mobile device. In the current economic climate, media companies have to think creatively and engage viewers by embracing new technologies. Bambuser offers media companies a chance to reduce costs whilst offering viewers access to unique and exclusive live video content."

Bambuser is currently available to consumers and businesses via iPhoneOS, Symbian, Android and Windows Mobile devices. We spoke to Hans Eriksson earlier this year; click here to listen to the podcast.
