Creating an industry-standard mobile HDTV connection

Nokia, Samsung, Silicon Image, Sony and Toshiba have formed the Mobile High-Definition Interface Working Group, which plans to create an industry standard audio/video interface for connecting mobile phones directly to high-definition televisions (HDTV). The new standard will be based on Silicon Image’s Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL) technology. [Press release]
