Europe moves closer to eCall in-car emergency phone system
The UK still hasn’t signed the EU's Memorandum of Understanding to implement eCall across Europe… but it looks as though we’re moving closer. If implemented, eCall would automatically dial the emergency services after a car accident and would notify them of the car’s location.
