Financial services businesses now need to record mobile phone calls

From this week - as we’ve previously reported - the UK’s Financial Services Authority requires mobile phone conversations and text messages to be recorded by certain regulated financial organisations.

In addition, these firms will need to take ‘reasonable steps’ to make sure employees don’t conduct any regulated business on private mobiles.

It’s a topic we discussed in August when we spoke to  Ian Hook of mobile phone recording company Compliant Phones. You can listen to the podcast on our website if you click here - or download the MP3 file here.
