Former T-Mobile employee in court over data theft

Last November, T-Mobile confirmed it had been working with the UK government's Information Commissioner’s Office following suspicions that employees had been selling customer data.

The Register now reports that former T-Mobile employee David Turley has pleaded guilty to 18 charges under section 55 of the Data Protection Act. He hasn't been sentenced yet; a second former employee has yet to enter a plea.
