HTML5 mobile game business Moblyng has closed

Mobile game business Moblyng has closed down, according to a report on VentureBeat.com. The company produced HTML5 games for mobile devices.

California-based Moblyng launched as ‘FlipTrack’ in 2007, before changing its business plan and moving into gaming.

Stewart Putney, the company’s founder and CEO, is quoted as saying “We did not monetize enough to stay in business. I remain very confident HTML5 will be a great platform for social games and media, it is simply a question of when.”
