iPhone launch marked by queues and concerns about reception

Apple's iPhone 4 launch yesterday, which saw queues of people outside many retail stores, was marred by a number of user complaints about poor reception on the handset. Holding the phone in your left hand can cause coverage to drop if your hand covers the metallic strip around the phone – the handset's antenna – in a certain way. The solution is either to modify your grip… or to buy a protective case.
