Masabi powers new mobile phone rail ticket service from

Online travel retailer has introduced a UK train ticket service for mobile phone users. The mobile application, which was developed by m-ticket company Masabi, allows customers to search for and buy train tickets without paying any booking fees. The mobile app enables tickets to be collected from most UK stations and can also be used in place of a conventional ticket on some routes. It’s currently available for iPhone, Android, BlackBerry and Nokia smartphones plus most feature phones. A Windows Phone 7 version is planned.

Customers can text REDSPOT to 86688 in the UK to receive the free application. (Mobile network charges may apply).
