Mobile banking isn’t just for when you’re away from home

First, the relatively obvious bit: as smartphone and 3G penetration increases, so the demand for mobile financial services is expected to grow. That’s what the latest report from comScore says. However, the answers they obtained when asking “Where do you primarily access your financial accounts via your mobile phone?” are particularly interesting. 31% of mobile customers mainly used mobile banking when at home, with 25% checking their finances while running errands and 15% doing it when commuting. 11% mainly banked at work, 9% when on holiday and 8% when travelling for business.
