Mobile companies named in Dow Jones Sustainability Index

A couple of weeks ago, Telefónica – O2’s parent – said it had become the leading telecommunications company based on sustainability criteria. That rating was according to the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), which looks at financial performance and sustainability – a combination of economic, environmental and social criteria.

Now Nokia has told the world that it’s the world's most sustainable technology company according to the DJSI. [Telefonica press release; Nokia press release]
