Vodafone to launch new marketing message
Vodafone CEO Vittorio Colao has told the Sunday Times that his company will soon drop its “Make the most of now” marketing tagline and will replace it with “Power to you”. It’s a message that seems to be aimed specifically at promoting smartphone use and, according to Mr Colao, puts the customer at the centre of Vodafone’s activities. Meanwhile Mobile News reports that Vodafone’s new social networking aggregator and application store will be launched later this week, replacing the Vodafone Live! mobile internet service.
