France Telecom and TDC say they've terminated their agreement to combine Orange Switzerland and Sunrise Communications. It follows the Swiss Competition Commission's announcement last month that it was prohibiting the proposed joint venture. The appeal the two companies filed with the Federal Administrative Court will also be withdrawn.
