Nokia’s security appliance business acquired by Check Point

Check Point Software Technologies has completed its acquisition of Nokia’s security appliance business. The deal was announced in December last year, following a twelve-year business partnership between the two organisations. Nokia’s security appliances already ran Check Point software; the move will allow Nokia to focus on its mobile devices and will give Check Point more control over its security products.
