O2 Media becomes part of Weve m-commerce partnership

O2 Media, the O2 UK network’s mobile advertising and marketing business, has become part of the Weve partnership. It was set up in 2009 to help big brands advertise to O2 customers.

A message on the O2 Media website reads “O2 Media has moved, we are now part of an exciting new company called Weve. Weve is a new focal point for a whole new set of experiences and ideas in mobile marketing and advertising, payments and transactions, loyalty and vouchers.”

It also notes that “you can get in touch with the team as normal.”

Weve, which until recently was known as Project Oscar, is a mobile commerce platform run as a joint venture between EE, Telefonica UK and Vodafone UK.
