O2 UK launches £5 per month mobile broadband tariff

O2 has launched a £5-a-month mobile broadband contract that offers 500MB of data. There's an upfront charge of £19.99 for the dongle, which also provides unlimited WiFi access at via The Cloud and BT Openzone. The tariff can be cancelled with just 30 days notice.

Vishal Khakhar, O2’s Head of Home and Broadband Marketing, said "We know that customers want to access the internet more and more and also are looking for shorter contracts. By offering this market leading 30 day rolling contract we are giving customers flexibility without having to top up on pay and go."
