RTX becomes the latest company to offer a Mobile Voice Short Codes service

European telecom operator RTX, which previously used the RouteTrader brand for its services, has added Mobile Voice Short Codes to its product portfolio.

Its MVSC solution lets organisations promote a five or seven digit number that any UK mobile phone can either call or communicate with via SMS text message. Calls are routed to any existing call centre number or Interactive Voice Response system.

Neil Kitcher, Managing Director of RTX, said “MVSCs are fast becoming the numbers of choice for mobile consumers due to the competitive fixed price they offer across all networks. We continue to grow at a rapid pace and by adding new services and features to our core proposition we are able to maximise revenue opportunities across a variety of markets.”

UK-based RTX operates a voice and SMS exchange, with over 5,000 members buying and selling telecommunications services.
