Mobile imaging company Scalado says its software is now included in more than 1 billion mobile devices around the world, giving it a third of the world’s mobile imaging market. The company’s technology is currently licensed to all of the the top five ‘tier 1’ mobile phone manufacturers.
Håkan Persson, Scalado’s CEO, said “We have reached a milestone that very few companies in the mobile business have accomplished. We want to improve and redefine the capture of moments and the experience of memories on any screen anywhere.”
Scalado’s technology is used when capturing, editing, viewing, sharing and storing images from mobile phone cameras.
