Facebook has made a deal to acquire Snaptu, a London-based mobile application developer with a focus on 'non-smart' handsets.
The two companies co-operated earlier this year on the Facebook for Feature Phones app, which works on more than 2,500 devices.

Facebook has launched a new mobile application that’s designed to work on over 2,500 feature phone models from Nokia, Sony Ericsson, LG and other manufacturers.
It’s been built with help from Snaptu and offers an easier-to-navigate home screen, contact synchronization and fast scrolling of photos and friend updates.
