Revenue generated by app downloads and in-app advertisements in the UK will reach €556 million (£449 million) this year, according to a report from mobile research specialists research2guidance. It means the UK is the biggest app market in Europe in terms of revenue generated as well as the overall number of downloads and users.
The report also notes that the UK is the only European country where BlackBerry apps have a significant market share.
