User interface group TAT to join RIM

Swedish user interface group The Astonishing Tribe (TAT) is becoming part of Research In Motion to work on the BlackBerry smartphone and PlayBook tablet platforms.

TAT has a long history of working with mobile and embedded technology. Its software and concepts are used in over 470 million of mobile devices, cars and consumer electronics products. This year TAT's products were included in more than 15% of all mobile phones and more than 20% of all touchscreen phones.
