AndroidPolice.com reports that some HTC devices are storing information that could easily be collected by a malicious applications. The stored information, which includes data about the device and its user, is theoretically available to any installed app that’s given internet access.
As a result, according to the report, it may be possible to clone a vulnerable HTC device.
HTC has been notified about the issue.
