Following last month’s report in which it said that Bluetooth headset usage in the USA was falling (although usage of Bluetooth headsets in Europe was increasing), Strategy Analytics now says Bluetooth headset sales are also falling. It reckons global Bluetooth headset shipments will shrink by 22% this year and US shipments will fall by 28%, blaming the economic downturn for the drop. [Press release; report]
