T-Mobile and Orange UK become Everything Everywhere

Orange and T-Mobile have revealed the official company name of their joint UK venture, following its formation on 1st April.

The company will be called Everything Everywhere™ and it’ll run the existing Orange and T-Mobile brands. It says the Orange and T-Mobile brands will continue to operate in the UK, with each having its own shops, marketing campaigns, propositions and service centres. However, the behind-the-scenes operations will be run as a single company.

Everything Everywhere Limited will officially launch on 1st July 2010. Orange UK chief Tom Alexander is chief executive of the new venture while T-Mobile UK managing director Richard Moat is his deputy and is also chief financial officer. Orange COO Andrew Ralston is Chief Commercial Officer. Deutsche Telekom chief financial officer Tim Höttges will be non-executive chairman for two years, after which the job will go to France Telecom’s chief financial officer.
