Mobile phone recycling has become increasingly mainstream, with many millions of people in the UK handing in their old mobile phones and electrical gadgets for cash. It’s a growth industry that’s seen more and more companies and websites offering cash bonuses to customers selling mobile phones.

As a result of all this activity, consumers and sellers needed a comparison site where they could discover which places were best for them to sell mobile phones and other old electrical devices. This would let them compare the prices from each company, saving them time and giving them the best price possible while still helping the environment. And so the mobile recycling comparison website was born.

Now a leading mobile phone recycling comparison website has announced the launch of iPod, iPad, music CD and gold recycling on its site. As well as offering all the financial and environmental benefits of recycling phones, it also lets customers make money from other unwanted items lying around the house.

Each recycling company is listed, along with consumer ratings for the service they provide, helping people make the right decision based on the products they’re choosing to recycle.

The mobile phone recycling comparison service is also using social media to spread the good news about getting cash for mobiles while helping the planet. It’s available on Twitter and Facebook, where you’ll find news updates about mobile phone recycling plus the latest environmentally-helpful and money-saving tips.

Additional recyclers are due to be added to the recycling comparison website throughout 2011, providing even more choice for anyone who wants to recycle their old phone, Apple iPod or gold jewellery.
