HTC adds live video streaming to its RE camera

HTC has enabled its RE camera to live-stream via a mobile phone to YouTube.

An update to the RE Android app will let users stream live video to their YouTube channel. A similar update will be made available for Apple iOS devices within the next few weeks.

Customer simply sign in to YouTube via the RE app, activate live streaming and then share video from their RE camera via their smartphone.

RE, which was announced in October last year, has an unconventional cylindrical design and a wide-angle lens. It’s currently selling for £129.99 in the UK.
