Apps WorldApps World 2012 takes place on Tuesday 2nd October and Wednesday 3rd October at the Earls Court 2 exhibition centre this year. It combines an exhibition with workshops and conference sessions designed for mobile developers, marketers, network operators, manufacturers and other mobile industry professionals. In addition, there’s an award event - the Appsters awards - with a drinks reception and party at The Roof Gardens in Kensington on the Tuesday night.

Entry to the exhibition is free if you register online. It offers access to over 150 exhibitors and will also provide entry into the Developer Zone, where experts will advise on the development of commercially viable applications, and to the Android-based Droid World event.

The two-day conference delivers insight and debate from many of the mobile industry’s biggest and most-respected names. There’ll be targeted workshop tracks - Mobile Marketing and Advertising, Gaming & HTML5 Web Apps, Operator Apps & VAS, Mobile Payments & NFC, Cloud and Enterprise Apps, TV & Multiscreen Apps and Automotive Apps - along with the free-to-attend Developer Zone and Droid World.

Delegates can register for individual days or for the two-day event. The full workshop pass provides access to all 10 tracks of workshop content, entry to the event party and much more. Alternatively, special ‘expo plus’ passes can provide a choice of networking opportunities or conference materials for visitors who aren’t able to commit to the workshop events.

Apps World is run by Six Degrees Events. The Fonecast is supporting Apps World as a media partner and will be reporting from the event in October.
