Mobile phone producer KAZAM has integrated rugged phone brand ToughShield into its business. In addition, it’s set up a new ‘KAZAM for business’ division.

KAZAM already produces a wide range of handsets, from feature phones to smartphones.

Michael Coombes, KAZAM’s CEO, said “This is a significant step for KAZAM, enabling us to broaden our product portfolio, delivering even more choice to consumers & businesses. ToughShield has solid experience & credibility in rugged product, specifically within the enterprise market. This integration will allow us to take advantage of that.”

Both companies are currently based in London.

We spoke to Kazam co-founder James Atkins in a podcast last November. You can listen to the interview via the built-in audio player on our website or by downloading the MP3 file.
