Its new Mobile4you handset is described as “the first smartphone in the world specifically developed for children, with focus on parental concerns”.

This Android-based device includes a parental control app that allows usage to be monitored. This includes real-time location information and call blocking.

Technical specifications include a dual-core 1.3GHz processor, a 3.5-inch screen and a 2 megapixel camera.

UK pricing is £129.99 SIM-free, with the full (premium) version of the parental safety application costing £2.49/month or £21.99 per year.
