Mark Bridge writes:

On Tuesday this week the International Agency for Research on Cancer - part of the World Health Organisation - classified radiofrequency electromagnetic fields as possibly carcinogenic to humans.

It says the evidence among users of mobile telephones was ‘limited’. This means it’s credible there’s a link between mobiles and certain types of cancer - but chance, bias or another cause could not be ruled out.

In today’s podcast, Iain and I take a closer look at the IARC report. We hear what Dr Jonathan Samet, chairman of the IARC working group, and IARC Director Christopher Wild have to say... and we talk about the IARC classifications, the statistics and the industry response.
