BT has signed an agreement that’s expected to result in EE providing a mobile virtual network for BT customers and employees.
The BT Mobile MVNO currently runs on the Vodafone UK network.

Communication industry regulator Ofcom has published a consultation about revising the licence fees paid by UK mobile networks for the 900MHz and 1800MHz spectrum bands initially used for 2G and 3G services.
In December 2010, the Government told Ofcom to revise these fees in line with current market values.

Vodafone UK says it has connected 100,000 customers to its 4G tariffs since they were launched seven weeks ago.
The company currently covers much of the Greater London area with its 4G network, along with Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Nottingham and Sheffield. Liverpool, Glasgow and Manchester are due to be added in the next few weeks.

The North Yorkshire village of Weaverthorpe has been the first to benefit from the UK government’s £150 million Mobile Infrastructure Project.
