It’s reported that Microsoft’s patent dispute with Motorola Mobility has resulted in Microsoft moving its European logistics operations from Germany to the Netherlands.
Microsoft is currently being sued by Motorola Mobility over video-related patents, with a decision due on 17th April.

An appeal court in the Netherlands has dismissed Apple’s claim that Samsung tablet devices should be banned.
Last year a Dutch court ruled that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 didn’t infringe Apple’s iPad design, although it did rule in favour of an Apple software patent.

The forthcoming PlayStation Vita gaming device will be supplied with a Vodafone SIM card in selected countries when it launches next February.
A new partnership with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe means that Vodafone will be the ‘preferred provider’ of 3G connectivity for the 3G+WiFi version of the PS Vita in the UK, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Australia, New Zealand and the Netherlands.

App store analyst company Distimo and games market research firm Newzoo are working together to provide monthly data on game sales and downloads across the Apple App Store in various markets.
Their first report shows that half of all free and paid app downloads across the USA, UK, France, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands and Belgium are games.

The latest European Mobile Consumer Briefing report from the Mobile Marketing Association has found that 30% of mobile phone users across the UK, France, Germany and the Netherlands have downloaded at least one application onto their current mobile phone. (It's a lower figure than the USA, where 42% of mobile consumers recently claimed to have downloaded apps).
