O2 has announced a free public WiFi service for the UK.
It’s called O2 Wifi and will be available to O2 and non-O2 mobile customers after a simple sign-up process. This sign-up is expected to be automatic for O2 customers on their WiFi devices by the end of the year.

There are some changes at the top of Telefónica Europe and its IP phone service Jajah.
Trevor Healy, currently CEO of Jajah, is stepping up to become Chairman of Jajah and will also have a new role as Chief Innovation Officer for Telefónica Europe. Meanwhile Steve Alder, who’s General Manager of UK and Group Devices for Telefónica Europe, will become the new CEO of Jajah.
