Virgin Media has created two new ‘pay as you go’ mobile phone tariffs, one with unlimited landline calls and the other with unlimited data and text messages.
It follows the creation of unlimited ‘pay monthly’ Virgin Media deals earlier this year.

Virgin Media has announced results for the third quarter of its financial year, with revenue up 2.8% to £1.028 billion for the quarter and net income rising to £124 million for the quarter.
Mobile revenue was down 3.1% year-on-year to £136.8 million for Q3 2012, with the change to mobile termination rates taking most of the blame.

Virgin Media says its WiFi service on the London Underground is to remain free for the rest of this year. The service was originally expected to introduce ‘pay as you go’ charging after the 2012 Games ended.
It’s also announced that 27th September was the first day Virgin Media’s WiFi service delivered over one million individual online sessions on the Tube.

Virgin Media has launched a number of new ‘pay monthly’ mobile phone tariffs today, including an unlimited data deal.
The ‘Premiere’ tariff offers unlimited data, unlimited text messaging, unlimited voice calls to UK landlines and 2,500 minutes for calling UK mobiles every month (subject to terms & conditions). It’s priced at £26 per month for a two-year minimum term, with a £5 monthly discount available for customers who already subscribe to other Virgin Media services at home.

London Underground and Virgin Media have named a list of 82 London Underground stations that will offer free WiFi this summer. Oxford Circus, Stratford, Liverpool Street, Leicester Square and King’s Cross will be among the first to launch.
Virgin Media’s WiFi service will be free throughout the summer, with charges introduced at a later date.
