Tradedoubler has become the first affiliate network in the world to offer its UK clients a marketing solution that includes Apple’s Passbook application.

It’s worked with mobile wallet specialist Passforce to integrate Apple Passbook into its performance marketing programmes for Tesco, The Body Shop, Seatwave and eFlorist.

Affiliate marketing pioneer Tradedoubler has published new research that shows 19% of consumers now book holidays via their mobile phones.

The figures come from a new whitepaper; ‘Performance Marketing: Travellers & Purchase Paths’.

New research from marketing business Tradedoubler suggests that footfall is no longer a useful measure of retail success.

It’s found that consumers are often seeing products in-store and then using their mobile phones to check for cheaper pricing elsewhere.

Affiliate marketing specialist Tradedoubler has launched an application-only affiliate program with betting and gaming site Winner.com.

It’s described as the sector’s first app-only affiliate programme and will offer commission payments to affiliates who encourage users to download and use the ‘Slots Farm’ app.

Retailers can only fully understand mobile shoppers when they know what device is being used, according to a report from affiliate marketing specialists Tradedoubler.

The company’s new Mobile Devices & Behaviour study, which contacted more than 2,000 smartphone users in Germany, Sweden, France and the UK, discovered that mobile shopping behaviour can closely be linked with the consumer’s chosen device and operating system.

By incorporating advanced algorithms and machine learning capabilities, AI can help to optimize a smartphone's performance, providing users with a faster, more efficient and user-friendly experience.
