Huawei has reinforced its position as the ‘Official Smartphone Partner of Arsenal FC’ by releasing an Arsenal-branded version of its Ascend P7 smartphone.

The Huawei Ascend P7 Arsenal Edition smartphone has Arsenal FC’s club crest on the rear cover, Arsenal wallpaper images, a copy of the FIFA 14 mobile game and a clock app that’s based on the famous Arsenal ‘Clock End’ South Stand.

Samsung becomes official smartphone supplier to the England football team

Samsung Electronics has worked with The Football Association to become the ‘Official Consumer Electronics & Smartphone Supplier’ to the England football team.

It means the England men’s team and their support staff will head for the FIFA World Cup in Brazil with Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphones.

GPS device market is forecast to increase despite decline in dedicated sat-nav equipment

The market for portable GPS-enabled devices is forecast to grow from 33.3 million units last year to 36.79 million in 2018, despite an anticipated dip this year.

Similarly, total revenue from these device is expected to fluctuate for the next couple of years but will rise to $7.14 billion (£4.5 billion) in 2018.
