The Geeksphone Revolution smartphone, which lets users choose between Mozilla´s Boot2Gecko platform or the Android operating system, is now on sale via Amazon in the UK, France, Germany and Spain.
It was originally launched in Spain two months ago.

Informa plc says it’s going to merge its two telecoms research businesses into a single company by the end of May.
Ovum will be joining with Informa Telecoms & Media Research in a new company led by current Ovum MD Steve Hotham. The Informa Telecoms & Media brand will then be dropped.

French media and telecoms company Vivendi has agreed to sell its SFR business.
The deal will see cable provider Altice and its Numericable subsidiary paying €13.5 billion (£11.2 billion) in cash and giving Vivendi a 20% stake in the resulting company.

M2M technology transforms parking in Pisa
