Telefónica Digital has announced a global partnership with augmented reality platform Aurasma that’ll see AR technology becoming one of the media services offered to Telefonica’s advertising partners.
The agreement will start in the UK with O2 Media helping brands integrate augmented reality with their marketing campaigns alongside other technologies such as location-based marketing and mobile coupons.

Apple has announced the latest version of its iPhone - the iPhone 5 - in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB versions. It’s also revealed new iPod touch and iPod nano music players, along with plans to update its iTunes music software in October.
The new 4G-equipped iPhone 5 is equipped with a 4-inch ‘Retina’ display and Apple’s iOS6 operating system running on the company’s A6 chip. It’s just 7.6mm thick, making it 18% thinner and 20% lighter than the previous model.
Nokia has apologised for producing a video that claimed to demonstrate the benefits of optical image stabilisation on its forthcoming Lumia 920 smartphone. The new flagship handset is capable of reducing or eliminating the effect of movement - which means that photos and videos will appear less blurry than those from other devices.
However, the promotional video wasn’t shot with a Lumia 920.

Nokia has announced its first two Windows Phone 8 devices at a special event in New York today.
The Nokia Lumia 920 is the company’s flagship Windows Phone 8 smartphone, incorporating the company’s PureView imaging technology with low-light capability and image stabilisation to offer clearer photographs. It’s also equipped with Nokia City Lens - a new location-based augmented reality service - along with wireless charging and a 2000mAh battery.
Good Technology, which specialises in ‘bring your own device’ solutions for more than 4,000 businesses worldwide, has introduced a number of updates to its email and collaboration application.
The enhanced Good for Enterprise app helps individual users to increase productivity whilst keeping their data secure.
