Orange Austria is to be sold to Hutchison 3G Austria, subject to regulatory approval.
France Telecom-Orange currently owns 35% of the business, while Mid Europa Partners controls 65%. Both parties have agreed to sell their combined stakes to Hutchison.

Everything Everywhere has announced it’ll be running multi-million pound marketing campaigns for the T-Mobile and Orange brands from this week. Each is expected to run throughout 2012, demonstrating the differences between the brands.

Orange has launched its first own-brand Android tablet in the UK today.
It’s called the Tahiti and has a dual-core 1.2GHz processor. Outside is a 7-inch LCD screen plus a 5 megapixel camera.

France Telecom-Orange has announced an agreement to sell Orange Switzerland to investment group Apax Partners in a deal worth 2 billion Swiss Francs (£1.37 billion).
The arrangement is subject to regulatory approval.
