Everything Everywhere is upgrading mobile TV for Orange and T-Mobile customers

Everything Everywhere has appointed Red Bee Media to provide a new mobile TV delivery platform.

It’s part of the company’s plans to upgrade the Orange and T-Mobile mobile TV service. Everything Everywhere says all this activity will help achieve a six-fold increase in its mobile TV subscriber base over the next three years.

Half of tablet owners use their device for full-length movies and TV shows

New research from In-Stat in the USA reveals that 50% of tablet owners are viewing feature-length movies and TV shows on their devices.

Overall, 86% of smartphone and tablet owners are viewing some kind of video on their devices.

Orange Wednesdays are joined by 'free film' Thursdays

Orange UK, which currently offers its customers an 'Orange Wednesdays' two-for-one cinema ticket promotion, is introducing a new loyalty scheme called Orange Film To Go. It's available to all Orange UK mobile phone and broadband customers.

Every Thursday, customers will be offered a free film to download from iTunes. The film can then be watched on a laptop, Mac, PC, iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch.
