Most purchases will be from enterprise and public sector buyers
Shipments of ‘smart glasses’, such as the Google Glass product, are expected to grow by almost 150% this year.
That’s according to ABI Research, which expects over 90% of these purchases to come from enterprise or public sector customers.

Tim Cook announces April launch for Apple Watch
Apple has announced financial results for the first quarter of its 2015 financial year.
For the three-month period until 27th December 2014, the company says quarterly revenue reached a new record of $74.6 billion and quarterly net profit hit a new high of $18 billion.

It’s reported that EE is refunding around £1 million to customers who were charged VAT in error. People who travelled outside Europe and used their phones to go online were apparently charged VAT, although this should only apply to usage inside the EU.
Only 0.5% of EE’s customers were affected by the problem, which happened because the company’s billing system hadn’t been set up correctly.

Back in 2013, Samsung announced its curved Galaxy Round smartphone and LG revealed the LG G Flex.
LG has now followed up on this innovation with the G Flex2, which has a sharper but slightly smaller display and a more powerful chip.

Last summer, Samsung announced the high-spec Samsung Z, which it described as “the first commercially available smartphone powered by the Tizen platform”. However, the launch was postponed and the phone’s release apparently cancelled in favour of a focus on lower-spec devices.
Samsung has now announced a new Tizen smartphone: the Samsung Z1.
