Vodafone has confirmed it’s considering the sale of its stake in US-based Verizon Wireless.
Verizon Communications currently owns 55% of the joint venture, with Vodafone owning 45%.

Three UK has announced a deal called ‘Feel At Home’ that’ll see customers being charged at their standard tariff rate when they visit certain countries.
The service is available automatically when customers use their mobile phones in Australia, Austria, Denmark, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy and Sweden.

Everything Everywhere (EE) has extended its 4G network to more than 100 UK towns and cities within ten months of launch.
The Lancashire town of Accrington was named as the 100th UK location, with the company’s 4GEE service also being switched on in Ashford, Bicester, Colchester, Guildford, Milton Keynes, Redhill, Sevenoaks, Royal Tunbridge Wells and Woking.

A newly-published report has shown that the average child gets their first mobile phone at the age of 11 years and 8 months old.
However, 9% of children - an estimated 1,178,100 in the UK - are bought their first phone at the age of 5.
