Samsung is using next week’s CES 2014 electronics show in Las Vegas to reveal the Galaxy Camera 2, a successor to its Android-powered camera of 2012.
It’s equipped with a 16.3 megapixel sensor and a 21x optical zoom, while processing power is provided by a 1.6 GHz quad-core chip supported by 2GB of RAM.

Samsung Electronics has created a gaming controller for its Galaxy smartphones and tablets.
The Smartphone GamePad connects via Bluetooth and will work with most Galaxy devices with a 4-inch to 6.3-inch screen running Android v4.1 or above. It has a rechargeable battery, a steel frame and a grip to hold the mobile device in place.

A jury in the USA has decided that Samsung needs to pay Apple $290 million (£179 million) for infringing patents related to its iPhone and iPad products.
Last year a jury said Samsung had to pay $1.05 billion, although a judge later ruled that the jury had miscalculated.
