Three UK loses another ad claim against giffgaff

In January the Advertising Standards Authority upheld complaints against a Three UK leaflet that claimed "No other network gives you more for £10."

Now another similar complaint has been upheld by the ASA against Three.

Three UK talks HD Voice

Three UK has been talking about High Definition voice calls, which were launched on the network a couple of weeks ago.

As with the Orange HD Voice service, which was rolled out last year, the service is only available between compatible phones in 3G coverage on the same network.

On Monday there seemed to be a dearth of mobile news as the industry held its breath and waited for Steve Jobs to speak.

Why there was quite so much breath-holding beats me, because Apple had already told us what the announcement was going to cover. Anyway, we learned about iOS 5, which will arrive in the autumn, and its 200 new features – including a new messaging service called iMessage.

Marc Allera is leaving sales and marketing role at Three UK

Marc Allera, sales and marketing director at Three UK, is leaving the network at the end of this year. His role will be split between current sales director Amanda Lambert and new marketing director Tom Malleschitz, who's joining from Three Austria.

The news comes in the same month that Three UK CEO Kevin Russell has announced he's returning to Australia.
