Orange UK has launched a contactless prepaid MasterCard card called Orange Cash. The card, which costs £5, can be preloaded with cash and used at contactless or conventional retailers in the UK and abroad.
It's been developed for Orange by prepaid services company PrePay Solutions.

Orange's move into mobile contactless services has continued with the launch of the Samsung Wave 578. It's an NFC-equipped handset running Samsung’s bada 1.1 operating system.
The Samsung Wave 578 will appear first on Orange networks in Spain, Poland and France before being rolled out to other European countries. However, Orange UK won't be offering this particular device.

Orange is adding new features to its Android devices. Orange Gestures – developed in-house by the Orange Group Devices business unit - lets users draw gestures on their homescreen to give fast access to applications or services.
The company is also introducing ‘smart’ wallpapers with built-in apps for its Android-powered Orange Signature smartphones.

Everything Everywhere, the company responsible for the Orange and T-Mobile brands in the UK, plans to open five of its own-brand stores as a trial.
The new shops will sell Orange and T-Mobile products, services and accessories.
