Everything Everywhere, the company responsible for the Orange and T-Mobile brands in the UK, plans to open five of its own-brand stores as a trial. It’s already experimented with joint-branded Orange and T-Mobile outlets.
The five new shops will sell Orange and T-Mobile products, services and accessories. They promise a “21st century retail experience” with an interactive environment designed to “inspire, excite and educate”. The first store to reopen with the new branding will be in Altrincham next Friday, followed by Bishops Stortford, Eltham, Evesham and Lowestoft.
Stores will have no posters or signage blocking their front windows - and products will be stored behind glass panels instead of being locked out of sight. The five-store trial is expected to last up to six months.
Andrew Coull, Vice President of Retail at Everything Everywhere, said “We’re a pioneering company with a deep-rooted belief in commercial exploration across all elements of our business. We’re passionate about building stronger relationships with customers of both our brands, and this is the latest in a string of live retail trials that will help us deliver a unique 21st century retail experience for our customers, creating a fun, interactive environment which brings our products and services to life.”
