thetrainline.com is planning to release a 'transactional' version of its mobile app later this month, enabling consumers to buy train tickets via their mobile phones. The current application, which is only available for the iPhone and other iOS devices, will be updated – and new versions will be produced for Android, BlackBerry, Nokia and other handsets.

Good Technology, which enables organisations to connect a wide range of devices to their corporate networks, has published its first quarterly data report. The Q3 metrics report shows the Apple iPhone 4 is already the most frequently-activated device among Good’s enterprise customers, followed by the iPhone 3GS.
